Sheung Wan & Central: Unveiling Architectural Splendor
Immersed in the heart of Sheung Wan and Central, Hong Kong's historic neighbourhoods, lies a treasure trove of architectural wonders that breathe life into our urban landscape. I curated a tour that invited university students to explore the captivating tapestry of the city's early history, particularly focusing on the development of Hong Kong's legal system in the latter half of the nineteenth century. As we meandered through the winding streets, the grand facades and intricate architectural details became our guiding beacons, narrating stories of progress, transformation, and the enduring legacy of Hong Kong's legal traditions.

Former Fanling Magistracy: Where East Meets West
In a remarkable juxtaposition of cultures and traditions, the Former Fanling Magistracy stands as a testament to the convergence of East and West. Constructed in 1961, this iconic building marked the birth of the first Western judicial court in the New Territories, where Chinese rural traditions had long held sway. Leading visitors on immersive architectural tours, I unveiled the captivating tale of this historic landmark and shed light on its remarkable revitalisation as an educational venue.
